There are so many choices in the revitalised Darling Quarter precinct it's hard to know where to start for a meal. However Thai is always fairly quick when you're in a rush - and as we heading to The Convention Centre for an event, it was our "go to" on this occasion. Noknok is a pretty place with a great indoor/outdoor feel. It has an oasis atmosphere in the busy CBD.

It's always hard to know what to choose for a starter. We often debate the point and usually end up with a few to keep the peace - and to indulge a bit as well. A good middle ground is always curry puffs - and so the rush lead us to choosing these. They arrived golden and crisp and this serving again proved why they are such a reliable option.

Our first main was another go to dish of pad see ew. We chose chicken as the protein and again it was a nice tasty selection. It was a good sized serving too. A squeeze of lemon added some nice citric zing as well.

Our other main was sesame beef. The good pile of tender juicy beef was very tasty and the sesame seeds gave it a nice nutty flavour too. The serving size was again generous.

Most people choose to eat outside, under cover, when the weather permits it. You can dine comfortably and watch the passing pedestrian traffic. It's a pleasant way to while away your dining time.

Noknok Thai Eating House turned out to deliver a tasty and substantial meal in very pleasant surroundings. Prices were also very reasonable for the area. We were also served quickly and the food came out fast as we advised we were in a rush.
