PAPPY’S CHICKEN - SYDNEY CBD

Pappys Chicken
275 Kent St
Sydney CBD

Pappy’s is a new resident at the Westpac Place food court located at 275 Kent Street Sydney. It might be a take away place but don’t let that fool you into thinking that the food is boring. Far from it. Pappy’s is already becoming a crowd favourite. We arrived for lunch on a weekday and were greeted by a wave of people eagerly waiting to get their hands on some Pappy yumminess.

The variety at Pappy’s is huge. On one side of the counter is a long array of fresh salads (and when we say long array, we mean long). Peri Peri chicken, chicken schnitzel, Thai Chicken, superfood and beetroot feta are just a few of the salads on offer. On the other side of the counter is a mouth-watering display of meats. Succulent pieces of roast chicken, crunchy pieces of fried chicken, tender roast beef and moist tantalising beef brisket. If you like a sandwich or roll for lunch, then Pappy’s has you covered as they’ll make any type of roll, wrap, sandwich or burger with any meat and they have so many fillings to choose from it’s  pretty much guaranteed to satisfy even the fussiest of sandwich connoisseurs.

Of course, if sandwiches, rolls or wraps aren’t your thing (maybe like us, you’re trimming the carbs now that the holidays are well and truly over) Pappy’s again has you covered with their ‘make your own bowl’ options.

We mixed and matched a few things and created two massive lunch bowls that were healthy, filling and delicious. Count N loves beef so he created his bowl with beef brisket, turmeric quinoa, balsamic carrot and green leaves.

Count J loves chicken so he loaded his bowl with rotisserie chicken, chilli broccoli, miso pumpkin, turmeric cauliflower and tyme mushrooms.  The bowls come with amazing sauces and you can choose sauces like mint yoghurt, chimichurri and lemon tahini. We choose chimichurri for both and along with two bottles of San Pellegrino sparkling water, we had a lunch that was filling, tasty and healthy.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Pappy’s and will most definitely be back. If you find yourself in that part of town, you should definitely pay them a visit. You will love their food. Pappy’s is open Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

The Counts dined as guests of Pappy’s Chicken. Special thanks to Claire and April from CPM Online Marketing for arranging this visit.
