This rustic café and bakehouse sits in a prime position on the shop strip of Windsor. We were after a later morning snack and the sprawling veranda - and the fact that it was a bakehouse - grabbed our attention so we wandered in.
Mlady fell in love with the frog - the cake frog that is! It was so cute. Our memories of similar treats was that they were filled with marzipan - but these were more of a marshmallow filling. It looked great and tasted just as good too. How could you resist those eyes!
Sir fancied a tart and steered towards his favourite of lemon. It had a lovely sweet yet tangy filling inside a nice pastry shell. It his the spot for him.
There are lots of other things available here though, ranging from hot baked items through to sandwiches, rolls and even salads. They also have a very wide range of sweet items for those that want a bit of a sugar hit.
This is a pleasant place. Grab your food and sit out on the veranda on a nice day and just watch the world go by. The food is tasty and the service was fast and friendly. They do a decent coffee here too.
