A new bake house is always an exciting thing. One close to home is even more exciting. Fox Bakehouse has now opened in a quiet part of Fox Valley shops but the smell of freshly baked goods is already attracting plenty of traffic. We started with trying their croissants. It’s always a good test of a bakery and we’re pleased to say theirs were great. These were light and fluffy with a nice buttery flavor. They were big too.
We love cinnamon donuts and so these were an easy choice too. They were freshly made, as expected, and nice and fluffy. They also had a good coating of cinnamon sugar too and weren’t oily as some can be.
We also grabbed a cross section of goodies to take away. The donuts were there of course. We also grabbed a neenish tart as well as a few muffins - two apple and one blueberry. The muffins were light and fluffy too.
They have quite a few other things here as well. There’s a variety of bread loaves and rolls. There are serve take away coffee.
We’e already been back here several times. the baked goods are fresh and tasty and they’ve got a decent variety on offer. The croissants are real winners too!
