MINSKYS - CREMORNE, SYDNEY

Minsky's Hotel
287 Military Rd
Cremorne, Sydney

We were fortunate to recently be invited to the grand relaunch of Misky's Hotel in Cremorne. As Mlady couldn't make it I was joined by the Princess.

The whole place has undergone quite a transformation. Decor has changed, food has changed and they even have new cocktails.

However some of the old faithful things have remained - including the piano and live music! The transformation looks good. It's got a good feel to it with plenty of space and plenty of options.

The new food menu has been put together by Robert Oey and there's something for everyone. The options range from smaller plates to share right through to full meals, sides and of course desserts.

One of the first things we tried was the spiced mini pork rolls.

They were filled with five hour marinated pulled pork topped with a dollop of slaw and it was all encased in a brioche bun.

Pork and slaw are a great pairing and these were really tasty!

While we were there for the relaunch we had quite a lot of food and there was also lots to drink! That's always a good thing in my book. Some of the dishes we tried included small individual salads, wild mushroom arancini, tempura fish pieces and herb crusted chicken tenderloin bites, crispy school prawns with chili and lime mayo and toasted sourdough with chicken liver pate and chutney. So much tasty food!

The new Minsky's Hotel is somewhere to go for a tasty meal (or snack) in pleasant surroundings. We enjoyed it and would gladly come back.

Sir and Mlady were guests at the relaunch of Minsky's Hotel. Thanks to everyone involved in the relaunch event which was impressive. Special thanks also to Jonas Tobias of Men At Work Comms for arranging our visit.
