PIERRE'S PATISSERIE & CAFE | TURRAMURRA, SYDNEY

Pierre's Patisserie & Cafe
1380 Pacific Highway
Turramurra, Sydney

Pierre's is probably more a patisserie than a cafe based on their trade, but they do have a pleasant outdoor area that sits near the highway but is protected from a lot of the noise and distractions this could have posed. We were looking for brunch and ended up here for a more Parisien style start to the day of a pastry and a coffee. They don't do cooked meals but they have a selection of pies and other heated items, as well as a great selection of pastries, croissants, bagels and cakes. It's probably more a morning or afternoon tea type of venue in reality.

Sir grabbed his favourite pastry - a palmier. He was always going to choose this - they were right in front of us at the counter and looked golden brown and deliciously sweet and crisp. He said this actually tasted as good as it looked and he'd come back here again if only for the palmier!

Mlady was far more conservative and chose an almond crescent. It had a nice crunchy outside revealing a beautifully soft biscuit inside. The almond slivers outside and a nice dusting of icing sugar gave it a lovely sweet hit.

A couple of coffee's and our Parisien start to the day was complete. This turned out to be a pleasant place to drop by.
