We actually used to buy fish and chips at a place here and wandered by with this in mind. We discovered a charcoal chicken place instead which certainly looked good and the food smelled great. We decided to grab some food here anyway and then discovered they do fish and chips too! Problems all solved!
Like most fish and chip venues there’s a combo available which includes a hefty piece of battered fish on top of a pile of hot chips. We both decided to order this. It was a good choice. The fish was big and juicy with a nice crispy batter on it.
We couldn’t resist also getting some calamari rings too. They were lightly crumbed and nicely golden on the outside while tender inside.
We actually struggled to eat it all in the end. The servings here are big. We’re glad we did order the calamari as well though!
Th hey do a lot more than fish and chips here. Obviously there’s charcoal chicken but they also have burgers and rolls too.
Although not a fish and chip shop this place still did a good job on it. That said, clearly the bulk of customers were ordering chicken here, which wasn’t a surprise.
