Nestled in the Fox Valley part of Wahroonga sits Karoo & Co. It’s been around for a while now, slowly building its reach and reputation. In fact, it’s done so well at both that they’ve also opened another popular venue in nearby St. Ives. Right now they’re doing take away and home delivery here in Wahroonga but when they resume dine-in services it’s worth having it on your list. They do quite a variety of dishes but we were after a couple of their famous wood-fired pizza’s.
Our first choice was a Gamberi Basilico - prawn and basil. This tasty pizza had fior di latte, sun dried tomatoes, basil pesto, Parmesan and plenty of plump juicy prawns. The base was delicious and the topping was just as good. They don’t skimp here and it was a big tasty meal.
Diavola is a favourite of ours when eating pizza so we also grabbed on of them. This again had fior di latte, olives, chilli and plenty of mild salami. We loved the way the salami crisped up on top of the pizza. It had a nice kick to it all too with the chilli. This was another winner.
With the current times being what they are, Karoo & Co is still churning out great food for take away and home delivery. They seem popular still too which is well deserved.
Karoo & Co is highly regarded and for good reasons. Their food is great. The pizza’s we had were delicious and very filling too.
