It was the Westfield Hornsby Long Lunch – part of the Eat Drink Westfield festival, and the Asian inspired menu was totally delicious. The fare for the day was a showcase of dishes from three of Westfield’s Asian restaurants, with Kangnam Korean BBQ providing the main course.
Dishes were done as alternate serves of “Bulgogi Beef Sizzling” or “Spicy Pork Sizzling.” The plates were loaded with a colourful array of meats and accompaniments including our favourite, Kimchi.
Both meals were very good indeed – the beef was tender and tasty and the pork was sweet and full of flavour.
The pork and the kimchi had a good amount of chilli for a nice kick.
These Dames are already fans of this restaurant, which is a popular member of the Hornsby dining scene. The Long Lunch was a good way to sample dishes from several places at once and we look forward to more of these events. Those Dames dined as guests of Kangnam Korean BBQ and Westfield Hornsby.
