If you want to feel as if you have experienced a nice fine dining meal in a chic yet relaxed environment you cant go wrong with Husk and Vine Kitchen at Parramatta. Don't be misled with the word "kitchen" as this is certainly NOT the ambience as you walk in. There are comfy booths, nicely spaced tables and tasteful decor surrounding the seating.
Mlady had lunch with friends which was nice and relaxing. She chose beer battered market fish, fries, lemon, sumac aioli. The fish was Ling. This was a nice tasting dish to order if you are after a decent but not overly massive meal. It was just right.
Friend C chose chicken cotoletta, peas, broccolini, lemon, parmesan cream. This was a hearty colourful meal and the chicken was nice and tender and not at all dry. The vibrance of the "greens" complimented the chicken so well. Friend C thoroughly enjoyed her meal. To drink she had a nice crisp Cooter Riesling.
Friend J - who simply loves his lamb opted for hand cut pappardelle with lamb shoulder ragu and pecorino. The lamb taste was nice and subtle and the pappardelle was cooked al dente! Friend J really enjoyed his meal. Friend J had a refreshing house made soda with pineapple and finger lime to drink.
Friend M - another fan of lamb chose the grilled lamb burger served with haloumi, mint, pickled red onion, aioli and of course fries. Friend M said that this was a really tasty burger and one of the best he has had.
We enjoyed our food at Husk and Vine and we all agreed that we would be back.
