Remember the days when the most common flavours for ice cream were Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla! Well the sky’s the limit now and at Gelato Messina There are so many choices and combinations! You are
spoilled for choice and hard pressed to pick only one flavour.
There are so many weird and wonderful flavours it’s important to take you time and check them all out before choosing. Once you have chosen though, you can have them in a cup or a cone.
Sir chose to have a cone and had the quirky combination of ‘finger bun’ flavoured ice cream and ‘cookies and cream’. The ice creams do taste as per what they state they are. So you get that great tasting flavour as if you were actually having a finger bun or cookies and cream bikkies. Sir enjoyed his choice.
Mlady went with her faves in a cone too, Chocolate and Vanilla. These flavours are Mlady’s ‘go to’ and yep - she loved them!
Like all of the Gelato Messina venues this one is busy. People constantly come in, spend a while browsing through the tasty varieties on offer and leave with their choice (or choices). Most come in saying they’ll just grab one variety and leave with two. there are some hard choices here!
As mentioned, the biggest challenge is what to choose from all the great options. There were so many more flavours we wanted top try. Next time!
