THE PANTRY MANLY - MANLY, SYDNEY

The Pantry Manly

We ended our lovely adventure at the Northern Beaches by having an early dinner at The Pantry Manly. It’s a lovely venue situated right on the beach at Many. They say they have the best view in Manly and it’s hard to disagree.

Sitting in seats facing the amazing ocean view we sipped on one of our favourite summer drinks, Aperol Spritz. It’s such a colourful, refreshing and great tasting beverage. It’s Summer in a glass.

Perusing the menu we decided to go with some sharing style tapas plates. White Anchovies are a fave of ours, so we could not go past having a serving of these. They were really tasty too with a great salty ocean flavours.

We also had some bread to eat with them. The daily bread basket gives you a cross-section of different breads and some olive oil and balsamic. It all went really well together.

WOW - these potato croquets with beef brisket, enoki and shiso looked and tasted great.  They were larger than the usual croquettes and packed with plenty of filling.

Chorizo is a bit of a ‘go to’ for both of us when we have tapas so we ordered the grilled chorizo sausage. This had a nice fried crust and a really good kick which we both loved.

The food at The Pantry is very tasty and the tapas dishes we chose were all decent sized servings. This is a busy place but they still manage to accomodate the walk-ins too.

Sunset may well be the best time to visit here but during the day it would be just as spectacular too. The views are amazing but the food is actually almost as good. Service was prompt and friendly s well. This is a great place to visit.
