KAM FOOK SHARK FIN SEAFOOD RESTAURANT - Chatswood

Kam Fook Shark Fin Seafood Restaurant
Level 6
Westfield Chatswood

This place is the best yum cha north of the bridge. Sure, some others are pretty good, but this just seems to win each time we go there.

Yes, there's always a queue outside. It can be a pain, but that's because its popular and that's because it's good!

Prawn and Vegetable Rolls
Make sure you go straight to the front counter at the doorway when you arrive - to get your ticket. Then you wait. We only had a few minutes. The place was crowded - but the food came quickly and kept on coming.

Its hard to know what to take and what to leave - it all looks so good. The meal - shown in the pictures here - cost just under $60. Its not the cheapest yum cha - but sooooo goooood!

The prawn and vegetable rolls were crisp and tasty.

Prawn Dumplings
The prawn dumplings were light and fluffy and packed full of prawns.
Duck Pancake

The duck pancake is always a must! Crisp skin, tangy hoi sin sauce, light pancake. Yummo!
Scollop Dumplings

Scollop dumplings were full of whoile scollops. They were light and delicate.
Deep Fried Prawn Dumplings with Mayo

Yes, we know this fried stuff isn't great for you, but they just looked so good. They tasted the same.
Calamari

The calamari was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside (not chewy). Could have had another of these easily.
Egg Tarts

Hard to go past egg tarts for finishing off the meal - so we didn't let the pass us - which was a good call!
