ROYAL STACKS | CHATSWOOD, NSW

October 30, 2016

Royal Stacks
Chatswood Westfield

Royal Stacks is the burger phenomenon out of Melbourne. They opened their first store in Sydney at Chatswood Westfield, conveniently located near a train station and movie cinema (we love our pre-film burgers!). Naturally we were excited to try Royal Stacks and they certainly did not disappoint.

At the opening night, the food was flowing. Duke had his eye on the Bacon Bacon as soon as he saw the menu and so jumped at the chance to eat one. Packed with bacon, two beef patties, cheddar, caramelised onion, mustard, tomato sauce and pickles - this burger was spectacular to look at. Duke chowed down and absolute loved this burger.

Other burgers we tasted were the Miss Elizabeth and the Double Stack. Miss Elizabeth was Duchess' favourite - a simple burger with an impact. With a  single patty, swiss cheese, and truffle mayo, the flavour was out of this world. Double Stack was also fantastic - double patty, tomato, lettuce, cheddar, special sauce and pickles. This was delicius!

Another unique thing about Royal Stacks is their dessert offering - they use frozen custard as a key ingredient to both their shakes and their 'ice cream' (which is really just different flavoured frozen custard and toppings). We loved the extra flavour to these shakes and desserts.

Unfortunately we missed out on the cheesy gems, but these look divine. We'll definitely be back to try them. Overall Royal Stacks has a great vibe, awesome decor, friendly staff and some killer food offerings. We definitely recommend giving them a try next time you're in Chatswood.

Thanks to Deveta at Zilla & Brook for organising our visit.
