IN RESTAURANT | NEUTRAL BAY, SYDNEY

July 23, 2017

IN Restaurant
1/99 Military Rd
Neutral Bay, Sydney

IN Restaurant has been grabbing some great reviews lately so we thought we'd drop by and see what all the hype has been about. We were in - no pun intended - quite early for dinner so it wasn't full, but it was packed by the time we left.

The grilled four half shell scallops in chilli soy glaze sounded great and they were! The scallops were lightly cooked, as they should be, and came with a sauce that sounded like it may overpower but was actually quite subtle. We were off to a good start!

Mlady loves her salmon and will often head in this direction on a menu - and tonight was no exception. She chose the grilled fresh Tasmanian salmon fillet with mash potato and vegetables. It was a simple  combination of good ingredients that went well together

Sir stayed with the seafood as well and went for the combination meal of the BBQ mixed seafood plate. This dish came drizzled with a nice sesame soy chilli sauce and included king prawns, scallops, calamari, perch and mussels all served with mixed salad. If you like gently cooked seafood with plenty of flavour then this would be perfect. The flavours were good and it was a lovely mix.

They do have desserts as well as a decent wine list. You can also BYO for a very modest corkage charge.

IN Restaurant is an intimate place that is attracting attention for its good food. We certainly enjoyed the food and can attest to the quality. IN is a pleasant venue that lets the food do the talking.
