Breakfast in Darlinghurst is a difficult decision, with so many choices available. We wandered around and found 169 Darlinghurst sitting on a sunny corner beckoning us. We just had to go in.
We started with our usual coffee's and soaked up the morning sun streaming in through the ornate windows. It was very relaxing and everything seemed to just feel calm and relaxed. We also used the time to study the menu and make our choices. The coffee was good too - with plenty of people simply dropping by to grab a take away brew.
Mlady went for a bacon and egg roll - which is fast becoming one of her preferred breakfast choices these days. It came with crispy bacon, balsamic onions, fried egg peering out and herbs. It looked impressive and tasted just as good.
Sir chose the crushed avo - seasoned avocado on levain, ricotta salata almonds and chermoula. It had a great fresh nutty earthy taste and hit the breakfast spot nicely. It was a good sized serving too.
169 Darlinghurst is in a prime location, and as it's raised a bit it has a sunny bright feel. The food is good too - with some tasty choices. It arrives quickly and there's something for everyone.
