For a very tasty meal - in fact a Brazilian style BBQ smorgasbord that comes to you (which is even better) - Chama in Caringbah really delivers.

Even if you don't like one particular type of meat there are plenty of other types and other things to choose from! There is so much of this very tasty BBQ meat though that you will never leave hungry.

The endless variety of meat was incredible. It was all cooked so tender and the sauces that they were cooked in, for example the parmesan beef and honey soy chicken - lovely!

Really enjoyed the pork belly - the crackling was well - just that - crunchy and divine!

The sausage varieties were chicken and chorizo - and both were beautifully cooked and very tasty. The chicken heart (yes heart!) had a slight peppery kick to it and was also nice and tasty. If you're nervous about something like this don't be - it really is worth trying.

We were given a range of accompaniments to eat with the various meats. There was black beans, rice, baked potato slices, breadcrumbs, cheese balls (very cute) and some very tasty sauces - salsa, green chilli and chimichurri.

We also really enjoyed the variety of their fresh salads. We tried the pasta, the yummy coleslaw and the rocket salad which Mlady particularly enjoyed.

The food just kept coming. The veggies - yes they even had these - were very tasty. They had a nice sprinkling of herbs on top. We both love haloumi and had to have this. It was tender and golden as it should be and we both enjoyed this. Sir had a double serving as it was that nice!

The French fries were also really good. They were piping hot and nice and crisp. We both had a few servings of these.

Sir indulged in a couple Sangria's which went so well with his meal and Mlady uncharacteristically went for a diet coke.

We ate our meal on a long table - there are lots of them here. This gives the venue plenty of space and is ideal for groups.

For dessert, which we did manage to fit in, we had the barbequed pineapple. This was lovely. It was sweet and juicy and dusted with cinnamon giving it a spicy lift.

We also had the fried banana which was sooo delicious. The sauce that you dip the banana - was caramel - and a perfect match. We both thoroughly enjoyed these and we have to say - yes we just had to have a few - quite a few in fact!

Sir and Mlady dined as guests of Chama Brazilian Style BBQ. Big thank you to Caroline, Mika, Fernanda and Ana for taking care of us on the night.
