Danes is a cute café in suburban Wahroonga that has been a mainstay for quite a while. It’s a long place that stretches quite a way back from the footpath, with the counter right at the back. Sir had dropped by for a sneaky snack on his way through the shopping precinct here.
As it was pre-midday, he was in a brunching kind of mood and eventually went for an old favourite - a bacon and egg roll. This turned out to be a very nice B & E roll and he devoured it eagerly. The bacon was plentiful and came with a fried free-range egg and your choice of sauce - tomato this time - on a toasted bun.
Of course having food means needing a drink as well. Coffee was the beverage of choice this time and he had a skim flat white. It arrived quickly and was a good drop.
