For a good meal – that caters for all tastes – you can’t go wrong with Rashays. The menu is varied and the servings are substantial – you will certainly leave full!
Mlady went to dinner with Friend A and Friend K. The drinks of choice were – lemon lime and bitters for Friend A and Mlady and a lovely glass of Red – Merlot for Friend K. When the lemon lime and bitters arrived – we were surprised as usually these drinks are served in a high ball glass. At Rashay’s – the servings were in a very large glass. The lemon lime and bitters was a lovely refreshing drink.
We decided to skip entrée and go straight to mains. Friend A and K ordered the creamy chicken and avocado - Succulent chargrilled chicken breast fillets & fresh avocado smothered in signature RASHAYS creamy mushroom sauce.
Malady ordered Grilled Barramundi - perfectly flaky grilled Barramundi fillet topped with fresh herb chimmi churri, a wedge of lemon & creamy tartare sauce.
The mains also came with a choice of 2 sides – chips or mash potato, salad or vegetables. We all chose to have the mash with the veggies.
Seriously the servings really were significant. Friends A and K simply loved their yummy creamy chicken which was cooked to perfection. The sauce was divine and the mash and veggies were a great combination.
Mlady who is a great fan of seafood thoroughly enjoyed her grilled barramundi. This was a beautiful tasting fish and it was perfectly cooked. The topping of chimmi churri was a very tasty addition as was the very soft and fluffy mash and fresh crisp veggies.
The food at Rashay’s is fresh and tasty. You will certainly leave feeling like you have had a very substantial and tasty meal.
