Four Frogs Creperie
115-117 Longueville Rd
Lane Cove, Sydney
Being able to combine two great loves - French food and dessert - is a wonderful thing. Four Frogs Creperies allow just that. However, they also have plenty of savoury options and drinks as well. We dropped in on their Lane Cove restaurant for dessert. It’s a bigger place than it first seems, with tables stretching back inside as well as down the arcade at its side.
Mlady’s love of nutella was well and truly satisfied with the nutella crepe. It was a large round crepe spread out flat on a plate and slathered with a thick rich spiral of Nutella. Nutella and crepes are a great combination and this tasted great!
Sir loves crepes set alight - or flambéed. The Grand Marnier crepe - or crepes in his case as he had two - arrived quickly at the table. The Grand Marnier was then poured onto the crepes creating a great visual and smelling delish as well. Then lets not forget the taste - he loved it. The mix of sweetness and liqueur was perfect, soaking into the crepes and creating a wonderful mix.
A favourite of ours is also the French cider here. It arrives poured into a tea cup and tastes great. You can get either dry or semi-dry. Give it a try!
Four Frogs is a quirky place to drop by for a tasty and affordable dinner as well as a great dessert. We always enjoy a visit there and haven’t ever been let down.
